Subsea Heritage
Continuous engagement in the world’s most significant submarine cable systems — from commercialisation through to founding shareholder status. Through its long-standing collaboration with PCCW Global, TTSA played an active commercial role on two of the industry’s flagship cable systems before evolving into a founding shareholder on its own subsea projects.
AAE-1 (Asia-Africa-Europe-1) — 2013–2017
AAE-1 runs from Hong Kong to Marseille via the Middle East, linking Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe on a single continuous system. Through its collaboration with PCCW Global, TTSA contributed to commercial planning and long-term capacity sales on one of the world’s longest subsea cable systems.
PEACE (Pakistan East Africa Europe) — 2018–2020
PEACE connects Asia, East Africa and Europe, opening new low-latency routes between these regions. Through its collaboration with PCCW Global, TTSA delivered partner enablement and international sales support across the consortium.
TTSA’s Role
- Commercial planning and long-term capacity sales (AAE-1)
- Partner enablement and international sales support (PEACE)
- Delivered in collaboration with PCCW Global
- Nearly two decades of continuous flagship cable involvement
From Heritage to Ownership
The commercial and operational experience gained on AAE-1 and PEACE laid the groundwork for TTSA’s evolution from commercial partner to founding shareholder — a path that led directly to the EMC — East-to-Med Corridor project.
